Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Salted in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A salted prefilled pod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.65 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on salted: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.65 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.65 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
