Melon 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What melon costs in Nouméa
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.82 per 10 ml.
How we tested melon in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where melon goes wrong
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
