Berry RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Berry in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.95 per 10 ml.
Berry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a berry RDA really costs in Nouméa
Berry sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested berry in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where berry goes wrong
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
