Raspberry pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Raspberry in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the raspberry habit
Raspberry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.89 per 10 ml.
The short version: raspberry in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry pen device really costs in Nouméa
Raspberry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested raspberry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why raspberry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
Is raspberry legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
What nicotine strength should raspberry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
