Sour sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for sour
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sour sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.26 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.26 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
