Mint in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
The honest read on mint: 16 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mint pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run mint the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is mint legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.88 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
