Pear pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in New Caledonia
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
Pear in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
