Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Herbal in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.88 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for herbal in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
