Cola sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Cola in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run cola the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cola in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Cola sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cola in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.29 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should cola start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
