Grapey sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at grapey in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested grapey in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.83 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
