Salted starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Salted starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Salted in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
