Vanilla prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a prefilled pod for vanilla
A vanilla prefilled pod from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.53 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.53 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
