Salted RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Salted RDA here
A salted RDA from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted RDA really costs in Nouméa
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
