Vanilla prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in New Caledonia
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.65 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested vanilla in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.65 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
