Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Sweet in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run sweet the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
A sweet cartomizer from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
