Salted vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a vape pen for salted
A salted vape pen from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.85 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.85 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Nouméa
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
