Frozen pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Frozen is allowed to say
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on frozen: 23 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A frozen pod kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.79 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
