Salted starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Salted in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on salted: 9 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.87 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.87 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
