Melon pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Melon pod kit here
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.99 per 10 ml.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
