Plum mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for plum
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.25 per 10 ml.
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Plum mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
