Caramel in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What caramel costs in Nouméa
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested caramel in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.88 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
