Plum box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Plum in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum box mod really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.68 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.68 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
