Nutty mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Nutty in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Nutty is allowed to say
Nutty in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A nutty mesh tank from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested nutty in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On nutty the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.39 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should nutty start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
