Plain refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plain in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plain in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Plain in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.82 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
