Pear RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Pear in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.01 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear RDA really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does pear in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.01 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
