Mint RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Mint in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.7 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: mint in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint RDA really costs in Nouméa
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.7 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mint the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.7 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
