Lime pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with lime in New Caledonia
A lime pod kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Lime pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
