Licorice pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Licorice in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for licorice
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A licorice pod kit from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.75 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does licorice in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
