Iced in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.42 per 10 ml.
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Iced in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested iced in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.42 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
How long does iced in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
