Caramel RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
A caramel RDA from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Caramel RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel RDA really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested caramel in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
