Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Iced prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.91 per 10 ml.
