Guava squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Guava in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested guava in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does guava in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
