Fig pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
We run fig the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.95 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested fig in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Packaging for fig in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.95 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.95 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does fig in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
