Guava pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.64 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested guava in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.64 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for guava in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.64 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does guava in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
