Candy mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
If you are looking at candy in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A candy mesh tank from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does candy in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
