Graphite pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Graphite in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.37 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at graphite in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.37 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
