Graphite mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Graphite in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Graphite is allowed to say
Graphite in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.09 per 10 ml.
The short version: graphite in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested graphite in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.09 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF59 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
