Grapey RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for grapey
The honest read on grapey: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: grapey in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on grapey: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for grapey in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.32 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.32 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
