Frozen box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on frozen: 8 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen box mod really costs in Nouméa
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.38 per 10 ml.
How we tested frozen in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Packaging for frozen in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.38 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
