Plum prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here

Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.15 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
