Fig sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in New Caledonia
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Fig in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested fig in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Is fig legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.88 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
