Fig pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Fig in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.51 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for fig in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.51 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does fig in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
