Fig in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Fig in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Fig in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
