Plum 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Plum 60 ml bottle here
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
