Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What dessert costs in Nouméa
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.43 per 10 ml.
The short version: dessert in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.43 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.43 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
