Citrus 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Citrus in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A citrus 100 ml bottle from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.27 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on citrus: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.27 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.27 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
