Cherry RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Cherry is allowed to say
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on cherry: 22 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry RDA really costs in Nouméa
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cherry in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
