Sour nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Sour in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in New Caledonia
A sour nicotine salt bottle from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run sour the same way in Nouméa: same nicotine salt bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.
