Caramel sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.95 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Caramel in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested caramel in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.95 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
