Caramel refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a refill pack for caramel
Caramel refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.04 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is caramel legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.04 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
